I have a 5 day rule on all my animals before they get a name. This is to lessen the heartbreak should an animal pass away, but also because I feel that a name should represent their character, not just their looks. Merlin was named because he looks like a grumpy old man, but is quite adventurous and friendly, given he's in the right mood Your picture didn't show :/
