When you say that your cham sleeps in your hand, is this during the day? Sleeping during the day is a sign of health problems for chams, they should be active all day long until "lights out." If you are handling him at night, he should be left alone to sleep. All handling (if any) should be done when the cham is active during the day.

Oh my, please fill out the 'how to ask for help' form. Also please read the care sheets..

help form is located in the health section.

copy and paste it into a reply here, and fill in all the info.

also, read the care sheet links that both myself and jann posted.

yes. your cham is not a fish, it should no be in a fish tank.

they dont have enough ventilation.

you need an all screen cage,

you can find the answer to most care questions in the care sheets we posted.

i cant get one right now is there anything else i can do, this is my first cham
and i dont want him to die:(

Please read the care sheet provided by Camimom. Two weeks old is really too young to get a new cham so your care needs to be precise. What size are the feeders you are giving him? At 2 weeks you are talking fruit flies and pinheads not a cricket with any size to it. I agree on the handling as well. Leave him alone and let him acclimate to his new surroundings. Also, do you have a UV light? Babies do not need it too hot, so the heat lamp may not even be needed. Are you misting or providing a dripper?

you can build a screen cage. but honestly, you need a screen cage.

a glass fish tank just isnt going to cut it.

the only possibility is to leave the lid off, but that wont last for long.

Can you post a photo of your cham?

2 weeks is way to young to have been sold.
