New Addition

Thanks! I just used "Great Stuff" pond foam from the hardware store. Laid the enclosure on its side and applied the foam. The foam dries very quickly. I followed the general setup guide of Bill Strand's "advanced setup" ideas on his Dragon Strand website.

I like it a lot. How did you do the foam sides?
Hi again, JGuinan007, here are a few pics of me assembling the enclosure before the foam was applied fully. I highly recommend the foam! It also beads the water droplets from the mist system, so I imagine a cham might find that appealing to drink from in addition to the pothos, etc. Anyways, just wanted to share. Have a great day :)

Thank you, you did a great job. How many cans of great stuff did you use? Think i'm gonna do this same thing.

Thanks for the compliment! I used more than I anticipated...5 cans if I remember correctly. I was using it to surround the mounted plant pots as well as the entire surface area of the three vertical PVC panels. Definitely wear gloves as I only made that mistake once!

It's "gotcha" day here! The little one arrived safe and sound. I took the day off to be here for the arrival. He is a gem! The little dino is currently exploring his new canopy with vigor, awash in UVB after his overnight journey. He already ate a small soldier fly larva from my hand (totally unexpected), and has munched on 1/4" crix and small soldier larvae from his cup. He is also drinking water droplets from his pothos like a champ, and had a nice healthy looking poop to top it all off. Dad is proud! I'm keeping with the tradition of the Kammerflage clan, and bestowing this little one with a Malagasy name: Goka-Kintana meaning "Dark Star," after his sire "Dark Sky." Also, after the Grateful Dead song "Dark Star" and the Game of Thrones character. Now I will leave him be to explore his new home and acclimate to the new surroundings. Yes, it was love at first site!!!

How big is he in inches head to tail approx ?
Hi Matthew. He's approximately 3.5 inches rostrum to tip, if I hazard a guess. He's about 3 months old; hatch date is approximately 10/23/15. His first weigh-in today came in at .25 ounces.

Congratulations!!! Is there anything better than opening up a box that has a chameleon in it.....I think not!! He's a stunner by the way!
Thanks!! He's a dream! I was beaming when he arrived safe and soundly. Such a treat to watch him explore his enclosure.
