as i said earlier, chameleons need time to adjust to their new home. they are easily stressed and keeping his surroundings as stress-free as possible will help him adjust sooner. many chameleon keepers here on the forums have experienced their chameleons not eating for the first few days after their arrival in their new home, so there is no need to worry for now. it is completely normal even though it doesn't seem that way.

I know what you saying, but it is important to just making sure he will be absolutely in a perfect health condition, thats why Im asking him to find the "poop"so at least we know is not a health issues. Rather than a transporting to a new home issue@chlobo

when did you get your cham? it is normal for them not to eat for a little while when you first get them so i would put some feeders in there and leave him alone to let him adjust.

i understand that, and your setup at the moment should be fine for now. i use pothos plants in my cage and you can get them at places like home depot for pretty cheap
I got him around 2-3 days ago

oh, i apologize i didn't see that. if he is not eating and it isn't a stress related issue then he may have some parasites. the only way to know if he does or not is to take a fecal sample (his poop) to a vet and have them run tests on it. however if i understand correctly you are in a tough financial situation and vet fees these days are really nasty .

Sorry

noni am putting them on the screen near him

i would put some crickets in a cup (make sure your cham can reach them but they can't get out and run all over the place) and leave them in his cage so if he gets hungry he can eat and they are easily accessible.

also what size are the crickets?

Ya I am tight on funds right now and my parents won't take him a vet right now

Dont be sorry Justin,I feel bad to ask u all these questions,I just want your cham to be ok,thats all,so did you count how many crickets u put in there?and also what size of the crickets u put in the cage?is the cricket smaller enough to get eaten by ur little cham(usually the size of ur cricket should be like the width of ur chams head)

Do I put the cup on the ground?

And how would I know if has eaten (just in case he ate and I just don't know it)? Just by how much he goes to the bathroom?
