new cham room

So I only have two chams but I just remodeled this room and tried to incorporate some good interior design into it also. Dont freak about the bird. Romeo will be going by the bird and he could care less about her! Also, yes the chams can see each other but they have been hanging out on the patio on seperate ends and have been fine. I got it covered, don't you worry! I have one more thing to do and that is to suspend ropes all around the room so they can climb around. I used all fake plants, first time doing that. They are not even using the cages right now as they have been outside most of the day and sleeping out on my patio at night. They will be coming in soon enough as it is getting pretty hot down here in Florida. Lastly, is my granddog Saige who seems to have taken a liking to my new chairs! Hope you like what I've done so far!

Love it! And I also love the bridge pic. Wasn't worried at all about the bird as my cham could care less when walking right under my parrot also. I think chams, although "solitary" creatures, do enjoy stimulation around them! Great, great room!

Wow, just wow! Beautiful room, I especially loved the Pascal stuffed-animal sitting at your desk. And you obviously worked your dog WAY too hard :p

Really cool. Is that a photograph or painting and where did you get it? I think its really beautiful.

hey thanks! It is a photograph or atleast it looks like one. I got it at IKEA. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. It is called "Jungle Journey"

Beautiful! We have very similar taste in design. I almost bought that print at Ikea! And I love that you are "breaking the rules" with your chameleons. I personally feel that yes, we need to be responsible, but that sometimes people get carried away.

I feel if they are not getting upset with the sight of each other or the bird, then why cover one side of the cage? I know what it looks like when they are not happy and they seem fine! Also, yes IKEA has great stuff. Got the chairs there too and the shelving unit on the left side of the one pic.

It would be so awesome if the bridge came OUT of the painting for the chameleons to climb! Just my thought haha also love the pitty she's adorable

Very nice! I told my husband that when he gets out of the military and we buy our house I wanted to make part of a patio a chameleon room. He looked at me as though I was crazy. But one of these days I'll be able too

home depot has rope that looks just like the bridge. My hubby has some ideas of suspending ropes for them to climb on. Ideas are in the works!!!! the pitty is a cutie but what a holy terror. Wants to eat EVERYTHING!!

Haha yeah, is she young? They can be mischievous, as most dogs are :p for the first few months after I got my dog she tore up the carpet, chewed through the doorframes, chewed up hats, cell phones, and other things my boyfriend left laying around, and barked non-stop when we left... we live in apartments.
