I know Gonzo would really like to have some out of the cage time but a plant with some nice branches for him to hold onto would be better.....like maybe a Ficus. I'm not sure if the Corn Plant is a safe plant or not but there's nothing there for him to grip.
yea it aint to good for him but at least its something, i kinda felt bad just seeing him in there so i went out and got it, in about a month im going to get his new big boy cage with 2 umbrella plants so that i can have one outside the cage and one inside. It only temporary. during the week im going to get some branches and put them vertically so that its not so bad.
Dracaena fragratissima 'Massangeana' is safe for chameleons i cheked
If you wrap a vine or something similar around the Dracaena it will be easier for him to climb. This is not to say it is very difficult for them to climb in the first place.
I have used this in a cage before and the chameleon can grip it as long as he gas a good grip (read: is healthy).. you will just find a few holes in your plant every now and then.
