New jackson pics

Here is some pics of the new guys. They have gained some weight and are looking a bit better. Sorry for the big pics. They are a little dark as they were not happy about being handle to get their pics taken.

We made a trip to the vet just for a general check up. He said her eye shows no sign of infection and should be just fine. He tail has healed but he does not think it will every completely curl like it should.

They do get to spend some time out doors each day it is warm enough.

the bigger female. She came with a messed up eye. It still looks a little funky but does not hinder her in any way and shows no sign of infection.

I am really impressed with these guys. I have not had chams for a while and was ready to dive right back in. I think another obsession has started

i remember the one from the thread about her eye, if color rendition is accurate then the lower female has lots of blue (very nice). the male has nice smooth straight horns, i think male xanths look so much better with that feature than they do with the crooked bumpy horns. if they are getting frequent outdoor sun, dont forget to adjust or eliminate D3 altogether,(depending on the amount of exposure) jmo

They are getting about 2-3 hours of natural sunlight a day... is that enough to eliminate the d-3?

Yes the smaller female does have a decent amount of the blueish color.

Are those gravid colors they are showing?

i love your female jacksons. I had a chance to keep female with red/brown color. That color was also OK, but I like green/blue better. Thank you for nice pictures.

They are stunning! I would really love a Jackson (Mt Meru preferably!) as my next chameleon. They are just such good looking chams!
