The baby veiled chameleon that I ordered from LLLReptile just arrived this
morning! From the looks of it he looks quite healthy but I'll post pics later if I can get some decent shots.
1. Is it alright to sit close by and just observe? Because I've read that he needs to be left alone to adapt to the new environment (but he's so
fascinating!!).
2. What is good and cheap to gutload crickets with? I'm currently feeding my
crickets oranges from my back yard.
3. Will he be okay without UVB for around a week? I was hoping my supplies
would arrive on the same day or after my chameleon arrived but I got told that they're to be shipped out today. I'm currently using an 18" uvb that I used for my bearded dragon (who passed away many years ago... RIP Larry ). Not sure if there's any juice left on that thing though.
