Hi everyone!
Sorry if any of these questions sound dumb or weird.!
I will be buying my cham within a month or two and I was needing some advice.

1.
I would love to be able to leave his cage open while we're home so he can come check things out on his own and check out the surroundings. My question is do they ever get all the way out and run around the house? I don't want him to get lose and into something he shouldn't.

2.
Cage locations - I can re-arrange my living room so the cage could either be:
in corner of living room
along the wall in the center of the living room
or in the kitchen right in front of a window with lots of sunlight

3.
if i decide to keep dubai's or crickets in the home instead of constantly buying them what would be the best way to keep them safe - I have a 2 yr old at home and run a daycare from home.

Thanks and sorry for the long post!
I'm excited to finally get one since I've loved them since I was little

1. I would keep the door open if you can watch him, because I've read that it is likely that they will go exploring, and with kids around , it wouldnt be pretty lol

2. I would put it where there is the least amount of activity, and be sure to cover the cage with a dark blanket or towel if you are using your living room at night.

3. I would keep them in a high up place like a closet so they kids cant see them.

4. Welcome to the forums! You can learn lots here, if any other questions, dont hesitate to ask!:)

thanks

Thanks!
this helps
I'm tying to put pics of possible cage locations to get better advice excuse the mess, like i said I run a daycare, lol!
So I can rearrange living room to make room for the cage in any of these places the last pic it would sit on top of a cabinet in the kitchen next to the fridge in front of the window.

Oh and I'm planning on getting a male Veiled Cham
