New Rescue Veiled coming in tomorrow

That's ok the way I see it is I will just keep getting more till one likes me lol... Like I needed an excuse to get more!! My next is going to come from Matt though. I have read nothing but positive things about him and his chams. It will be such a treat to start with a healthy cham!!

Matt is Amazing . You will be so very happy .

Neptune today after sun, he definitely hates my phone more than me XD

He's gained weight, still haven't weighed him, don't plan to until tomorrow but if you look at the first pic compared to the bottom pic, obvious difference ^^

Ryker's two front legs are acting weird... I think I need some fresh liquid calcium... may help, but I haven't gone into the vet yet, we have an appointment for Friday morning, if we really need to we can go in earlier but other than his wrists being a bit off, and his grip a bit weak he's ok. He may just be getting old. He hasn't had the easiest life... I wouldn't be surprised if he died a bit earlier than expected or hoped for... but sometimes it's what happens. I hope something simple is a fix, but idk yet. I am bringing mom with me since it's a dual appointment for one of her cats as well, and we might do the whole shebang of blood work and xrays. He's never had xrays and it's been a year or so since blood work so it might be time especially since he's turning 5 soon

It's so sad to think of passing . I understand fully they don't live a long life to begin with . 7-8 is old but it's so very short . 5 is definitely getting older . . I often worry about this with Frances .

I know... I keep geckos and most of the shortest lived ones I keep still live to be 15... I would be so happy if chameleons could live that long as well <3

We have always kept geckos and beardies . They live much longer . Agreed wish they life's that long .

Oh and I forgot to post because I was so excited about how Neptune is doing but... I got Peepers to eat a superworm from my hand today!!!!!!!

HUGE SUCCESS!!!!! And a huge thank you for all your help in getting to this point!!!

YAY for Peepers for being less suspicious XD at least someone is getting there XD

I think I would not be happy with someone force-feeding me multiple times a day so I feel Neptune's pain. I wish they (animals in general) could understand that we are just trying to make them better!! Oh how I wish we could communicate with animals!!

Completely agreed

I definitely don't blame him XD most rehabs aren't happy when they first arrive comes I almost always have to medicate from the get go and force feed, usually a few months into recovery they get much better and because I can pull back on the physical care a bit and work on the emotional/mental healing.
