Evening all, at least here in the UK
I currently keep Leachies but fancied a cham for a long time and have decided to give in.
Previous reptile experiences are Cresties, Gargoyles, Blue tongues, Tegu and some snappy boas.
I know that a Yemen or Panther would be the best way to start but I really fancy montane chams.
Conditions in my house would be ideal as I have a cool cellar where I could move them during the hottest summer month should that be needed
I currently have 2 Reptile One vivs that I could convert to screen sides and extent in hight to near 3 feet high.
They come as a flat pack and are easy to convert.
I'm watching several Chameleon set ups on ebay and unless I can buy one particular, I think I will be setting up for a Hoehnelli or Jacksons cham fairly soon. Should I get that set up I will opt for a Panther or Giant Spiny Chameleon (Furcifer verrucosus). I like Yemens but the other 2 are just that bit more desirable in my view
I've done my research and already have fully automated vivs for the leachies and will go the same route for the chams.
Should be a interesting few weeks how ever it all turns out
