That is unusual that the females are more expensive. It is usually the other way around. You do know the males are the colorful ones right? The females can be pretty to but not in comparison to the males. The breeder should know the difference between male and female but sometimes they make mistakes too. Who did you buy it from and why did you want a female instead of a male? Just curious. You know that the females can lay eggs without mating right, and you have to get a laying bin set up and all that?
