New to website and Chameleon community and looking for opinions.

Like @CJ's Exotics, I love the yellow going into the green. Jackson's are on my wish list but for now We are working on getting another female nosy be for Blue and will be looking around for another ambilobe female for Ares. Counting the months down for @Matt Vanilla Gorilla to offer up a Skittles female for sale :D. Still have probably 9/10 months to yet there though I think .
Wow, how do you have the PATIENCE! to not be staring at one of the Skittles females for, let's see here, 9 TO 10 MONTHS!!! Happy New Year!!! :):p:D:p:D:)

Well I don't really but, I want a Skittles female so I'm trying my best to "keep calm and cham on" for now lol. They were laid in mid Sept if I'm recalling the incubator box correctly. Matt has told me in the past he likes to keep the females a bit longer then the males before selling them which gives me the 9/ 10 month waiting period :(. In the mean time I just keep pestering him about his current gravid female ambilobe .

Happy New Year to you guys as well :D.

How long did you wait to get a second Cham after getting your first one.Im kind of interested in a panther Cham of some sort but not for a long time.

Ummm, I bought Blue Lightning (nosy be male) early October and received him early November. Then got Ares and Athena (ambilobe male and female) for a b day present 12-5 from my wife. On 12-16 I got Wit Donder (white thunder is what it means, nosy be female) and "peanut pot" ,what we are calling her for now, also female nosy be but she is going to another member once the weather permits shipping her.

So, my addiction didn't take long obviously . But, Blue came from @Matt Vanilla Gorilla and he was a huge help along with this site when I first started my journey.

Edit: I also said not for a long time when I first got Blue lol. When people say it's an addiction they mean it. I love laying in bed watching them do their thing if they aren't out for free time.

Give him 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark. The way it was explained to me is they have a light "sensor" (you'll have to pardon my ignorance on the proper name for this "sensor") on top of their heads. When the "sensor" doesnt pick up light they go to sleep and that's why they sleep when being shipped. When it senses light they wake up. How sensitive this sensor is, idk to be honest, but I can tell you when my chams dont tuck in with heads under a leaf they wake up with my ceiling fan light. If they tuck in with a leaf over their heads they don't.

I have their lights set for 10 am to 10 pm so I get a few hours with them after work. I wake up at 5:45 am for work though which why I've watched to see what mine have done.

Sorry for the delayed reply. This may sound stupid but, have you tried covering his cage with a curtain or towel or what ever you have handy and see if that help? When I first got Blue I was having a bad time with waking him up when I got up for work. I put a curtain up until he got used to my schedule, his schedule and where to be in his cage when he tucked himself in for the night. Didn't take him long to figure that part out but the curtain helped in the mean time.
