Hi there Im having a little problem with keeping up the humidity in the cage and I can't afford a repti fogger or humidifier at this moment so any other advise would be highly appreciate thanks a lot

Any type of clean plastic.
Shower curtain material, or maybe suranwrap would work.
Just cover the back, if it needs to go up more, cover the sides, dont cover anymore than that.

Hey solid snake I covered the back and one side of the cage with a black plastic and humidity went from 50 to 60 so far but I know it's not enough I have live plants and a misting system set every two hours for 30 seconds what else can I do. Thanks! 

50-60 sounds like pretty good to me. I have humidifier, ficus, dripper, and mist like 5 times a day, and it still around 45%

This is for the rudis?

If so, you might be good now I think.
I would change the misting times.

Start off their morning with a long mist.
I give a 8 min misting, 30min after lights on for my jackson.

I also give a 10min session around halfway through the day, and another 10min session, 3/4 of the way through their day.

The longer sessions should help keep it a bit higher for longer.
Continue to do small mistings periodically, but I would do 1min instead of 30sec.

Thanks agravysh for the comments but for this specie higher humidity is a plus and chameleongirl2 I don't think a bowl with water is a good idea you can ask any one in this forum they will tell you the same

I'd suggest one. Even spraying with a spray bottle frequently has the same effect. If your cham is having good sheds with no stuck does, and doesn't look dehydrated, you're probably doing it right.

As long as there's frequent water from a mistking/humidifier, then the actual humidity level doesn't matter nearly as much.

I disagree.
If the ambient RH is too low, the animal will dry out, even if it drinks water.
Their skin, nasal passages ect needs the proper RH to keep from drying out.

Also, I believe this is a montane species were talking about. So it will need higher humidity throughout the day than say a panther or veiled.

Yes this is a montane specie and I definitely need a humidifier or the zoomed repti fogger I've been looking and seems to do a good job increasing the humidity plus I don't have to add no extra tubing well this is my opinion I don't know if some one disagree!! 

I have a reptifogger I use for my baby quad - it is ok for a small cage, but I don't feel it would do any good in a larger enclosure for an adult. In his case, a humidifier is definitely a better investment. In any case, for all of my montane chams I have sides covered with plastic and that helps a lot.

Understand, that your humidity is going to go up to the 80s-90s after a 1-2min mist session. After the session, it will gradually go down.
This is fine, and expected, if it doesnt go lower than 50-60% in between.
You want a bit of a drier period.
