I think Dino is a bit chubby. I watched a video showing obesity in a Cham that died. I am really just wondering if I get his diet of less food, will he get rid of the fat deposits in his cask and cheeks?

  • Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
  • Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
  • Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
  • Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
  • Location - Where are you geographically located?

I filled this out on an earlier thread. I don't know how to find it!
 
We don't need the form right now. We need images. So we are looking at whole body images and pics face on so we can see if he has width to his casque. Also if he is showing puffiness on the back side of the casque.
 
Keep in mind if you do need to cut his feedings back you should do it gradually. Abrupt changes in diet can cause problems as well.

please forgive me, I have no idea how to do things as far as pics and copy and pasting things :oops:. Lord only knows what these posts look like on your end!!!
 
I have cut back on feeding. I give him 3 dusted crickets every day. I use repashy calcium plus loD, every day. I gut load using repashy super load, and bug burger, and veggies. That lump has been there for about a year. With the virus going on, our vet has been hard to get into. They won't let you in right now about half the time.
