omg,grapes!

i just gave him a grape without seed and peel . it was very little.
he ate it from my hand and bit it very gently. lol that was cute but after that i put him back in the cage and he puffed like crazy hissed ,he was very angry.
he was puffed with his mouth opened.
this scared me , he never does this so i was like omg the little grape is stuck in his thraot.
could this really happen ? the grape was really slippery and small .

so is this ok ? donno why he got so angry

I doubt it got stuck because most lizards store several chewed up bugs right before chucking down all of them. Sometimes my lizards do that too, i feed them really well and once they think im done, they go to their fav spot and throw tons of displays at me. The puffing up, the head bobbing and push ups.
/maybe it was being defensive over its grape, id kill for my grapes tooo;P

well now if i think about it , he can eat an adult female dubia with no problem , i guess a tiny bit of sipplery grape was just ok.
but he never does this agresive stance ,so i freaked out ) lol

You should try to record your cham doing this grape eating thing, to show people their intelligence! Let people see how it acknowledges the fruit and then going to pick it up gently, instead of tongue flicking (tradition cham way of eating).

yap thats the one from avatar ! well this was the 2nd time he ate a fruit and the 1st time he ate a grape ! was amazing ! i will get a video of him doing this in the coming days !

ah and finaly my repashy cal plus HAS ARRIVED!!! so happy, lol smells amazing

Maybe he just wasn't quite sure of the texture of the peeled grape? I'm just thinking that there aren't really any slimy feeders that I can think of, so maybe he had second thoughts as he was swallowing it, and decided to show his displeasure/confusion? Just my two cents, for what it's worth.

maybe it was too juicy and it made him smile and then the juices went all over the place and he was awwed and couldnt think of what to do as he noticed you were watching
