Oops - Kinyongia Boehmei

She/he has the waddle walk/leaf walk down pat!

I keep going back and forth.... I know you shouldn’t try to gauge sex so soon, but Ive heard from others with Boehme’s babies that you can tell very early on due to the females’ red heads. In certain lighting its head looks very red! Doesn’t matter to me, I love them all the same. Just excited!

8 babies so far - 1 more egg to go, but I’m not sure which egg it is! They are so small, its really hard to tell which has hatched completely and which hasn't. Fingers crossed the last little one arrives soon.

I know you’re not supposed to have favorites... but #1 out of the egg has personality and serious curiosity. It seems not matter what, I know which one is #1 without seeing the markings. Or its running up my arm when I go to put another baby in the bin. Reminds me of my Little Charlie... I think #1 may be staying with me forever.

Here’s a baby for scale... and #1 is the blurry one peeking at me (red dots on tail). Just look at those little eyes. Swoon.
