I use parlor palm with my veileds. I have a peacock plant that I’m considering trying with a panther. I can’t recall what I’ve heard about bird’s nest fern. All the others I’ve no idea so would avoid.

I have no idea... Have not heard of it. I run smart plugs for lights. Herpstat for basking. And mistking system for water.

As @Beman mentioned correctly I’m using the deep heat projector in 2 of my setups. Haven’t found any negative thing about it and the chams love it. It doesn’t give any light, but they sense the radiation of it and it gives good heat.

Awesome thank you, are there different wattages and if so what wattage would I need? Also do I need to have it directly on the screen top or can I have it on a stand ?

I know there’re two types of wattage and I’m using less strongest one, you can use it both ways on the screen or on a stand, with reflector and without. Depends on the distance towards the basking branch. I’m using one without reflector in the freerange setup and one with reflector in the enclosure setup

What brand are you using because I have found 50, 80, 100 and 150 watt depending on brand

I’m using it as a basking spot, but it also contributes in the ambient heat. It’s used in a really big enclosure and the jungle dawns with the 46” UVB generate most ambient heat.

It is another great option in the supplement world lol. I think we all just find our favorites and stick with them.
