Parasites??

Type: Jacksons chameleon (male)
Lighting:uvb 13 watt uva 60 watt
Cage: zoo med I think mediam I'm getting bigger
Age: I think 5-6 months I revived him from Repticon
Problem:
Today I watched him use the bathroom and White came out first then black ok but after that I noticed something else like hanging from his butt then went back in ? I'm not sure if that's normal or not like is that parasites ? And he's been holding his tail weird I really don't want to take him to Westside but it looks like I'm having to Bc she's the only one here everyone else is booked until nest month some up to three months but I guess what I'm asking is if it is parasites is there a test I can do like at home

The only test you can do at home is a fecal float, and you would need a microscope. You can also collect a fresh fecal sample and bring it to the vet for a test, without bringing your animal for an exam.

I think what you're describing is his hemipenes. Do a search here for hemipenes, there should be photos of someone else's chameleon's "man parts" that you can look at and see if that's what you saw.

m... yeah actually I'm sorry I feel very stupid now it was like orangish brown tho it just freaked me out when it went back up

It's totally normal for the hemipenes to come out, briefly, especially after pooping. If they stay out, like they're stuck, then there's an issue that needs immediate attention. They can dry out and need to be amputated if they aren't taken care of.

Another words,man parts get cut,no more pleasure n producing babies but most likely cham stay alive....keep that man parts moisture so it wont dry up,u can even apply the water base KY lubricant to soothing that man parts.
 
You guys see the skin on his tail? He has s patch on his face too and it's been like that since we've met eachother is that skin he's having problems shedding ? I've missed him with warm water and even sat him in a like warm bath and I can't seem to get it off

It looks like skin to me so just keep misting him I would say
 
That means its not ready to come off yet but soon,keep misting with lukewarm water,raise that humidity up,it does the man parts n his skin silky smooth good.
 
This isn't another question about his man parts lmao but today I noticed max keeps crawling to the bottom the the terrerium and he'll sit there or crawl on the screen st the bottom ? He'll go back up but steadily coming to the bottom his tail is straight not curled so is he just exploring or is something wrong is this normal for Jacksons ? I'm holding him now he seems fine I let him bathe he turned beautiful vibrate colors as well as me holding him but refuses to be in the terrerium
