Pics for Laurie

Here's a couple of picture of Male. Female is still settling in so I left her alone. 1st picture is of a really pissed off male. I moved him to a cooler temped cage, and he did'nt like being moved. 2nd is of him in more confortable state, trying to blend in. But those beautiful eyes give him away.

You said you moved hime to a cooler cage setup. What temps do these guys like? Also do they bask much or mostly just stay on their plants lower incage. Are they similar to jacksons in care needs? Sory to ask so many queston just have always been fascinateed by these guys.

Very nice!!

I sometimes wish my male was not WC but I soon hope to have my female lay and will have some CB Deremensis (I HOPE).

I've read they should be kept at 72 daytime, and drop to 61 at night. I had him in a cage that was going over 75. So I put him in one that stays around 75 as a max high, with a night time drop to 65 lately. Have a 20 watt spot in one corner if he wants to warm up a bit, but I should probably have it on a timer set up for only a few hours in the morning. They are more active than I thought. And can disappear on you with a back turn.

He`s gorgeous you must be so pleased to have got such a great looking boy :)
These are a great brother and sister pair. Much kudos go to Josh and Michelle Hensley for keeping them in top shape. Reputation points are coming their way. I'm just babysitting them for Laurie til it's okay to ship them to her. She's getting some nice animals. My girlfriend is quite fond of them, and she's not even into reptiles. She tolerates the chams for me.

Steve he is beautiful! You aren't going to get so attached to him that you won't send him if it ever warms up here are you? You are such a wonderful friend :) to babysit for my chams until the weather breaks. This time I owe you more than one. THANKS, THANKS & thank you.

Steve,

you're the best.
I too am waiting on my new quad, and people like you (who are watching our pets durring the cold weather) are just the best. :)

We had these guys for quite some time and they of course were houses separtely, they did extremely well with no spot light and a fogger on at all times, they enjoyed being sprayed down several times a day but in the Southern California average home do not need heat, the male looks extremely stressed in that picture and in all the time we had him, never got that upset. He also was very comfortable in his surroundings and hung out in the same place most of the time as most Deremensis don't move around that much. He may be stressed and trying to get cooler as if he was in a cooler environment with higher humidity, he may tend to stay in one area and not show stressed colors. Just thought I would let you know as we have had them for quite some time and want to make sure that you knew where they were coming from and how they were before you got them. Let us know if you have any questions.

Yes, He got really mad at me,and wanted to take a finger off, when I moved him from the first cage, to another that has auto mistings. I'll put the foggers on them! Here's a nighttime pic of each of them.
