Please help me! Baby veiled chamaleon

Hello guys. I have a doubt. My baby chameleon( 3 months ) have a very small white " cristal" in one of his nose . Is it fungus?? MY water drop is automatic ( 15 sec of water each 3-6 hours.)
And he is very afraid to come in my hand.
Before he comes to my hand he normally bites me. I feed him with crickets , small worms, flyes, fireflies etc...
Can you guys help me?

It's excess salts being expelled...it's normal.
Fireflies are toxic. What kind of worms?

15 seconds every 3-6 hours isn't enough. I have mistking that sprays for 8 mins every ~4 hours and I'm going to make it more soon. Being afraid of you is normal. Give him more space and try hand feeding things.

What kind of water are you using? I found my local tap water caused this issue. After switching to filtered water, the salt excess disappeared.

Id be more concerned about you chams eyes being closed while youre handling. Not a good sign.

I don't know but I'm totally freaked out now. Like I'm scared to hold her now. She loves to come out of her habitat and she reaches for me but now I don't know what to do.

Well he said that her eyes being closed while holding her is a bad sign. I'm honestly doing everything I can to do everything right.

If you have a chameleon out of the cage long enough and the room is cool enough it's inevitable that it will go to sleep....that wouldn't worry me but I would put it back in its cage and not keepmit out so long that this happens frequently.
If your chameleon is afraid it might shut it's eyes or if it's sick it might...that would be a worry.

Its a nose salt ( dont laugh it is what i call them) what i think you have to do is get a Q tip. Like the thing you clean your ears with and rub it GENTLY on his nose where the crystal is. But don't let him eat the Q tip. Or bite it. It could be bad for him or Fatal.

Thank you so much! I'm so worried I'm doing something wrong. I love her to pieces! She loves to come out and sometimes she doesn't want to go back. I only take her out once a day. Thank you so so much! I appreciate all the advice. I was scared maybe I was a dog only person. Hahahahaha
