Preparing for my first chameleon, tips appreciated

Was on lunch and saw it :) Her urate is looking quite white actually, with an off colored bit.
I harvested and put it in the fridge.

Appointment is 5pm, currently 1:40pm here, will be off of work at 3pm today and can get her ready
Yes like a egg yoke . If you could get her 4 / mistings a day with dry out between that would help . Hornworms will too . Also you had not seen poo yet ? Hopefully if she will start to go more regular you might start seeing liter yellow . It will take time to get her hydrated .

I'm not sure where she's been hiding her poop but this was the first I saw. It was quite large, as well, but not surprisingly big like what comes out of my eat-everything beardie.
I will need to figure out a curtain idea for misting as honestly all my stuff near her enclosure is getting soaked and I have to keep wiping everything down with a towel after every misting.

Hornworms are shipped and should be arriving tomorrow or Thursday. Waxworms are shipped and arriving the end of this week. Supers have not shipped.

You can use a shower curtain cut it to size . Works well .

At the vet!
So far so good, 9g, good size, hydrated

She said her eyes are light sensitive, probably still healing from harsh pet store lights.
No sign of an eye infection, minor swelling, going to get a shot of vitamins to help boost her

Mouth looks good, no concerns there.
Waiting on fecal result

Not that I saw, but the assistant was holding her. They injected a little higher than her elbow on her right arm. She got upset right after but calmed down pretty quickly

Unrelated but she demolished her roaches before I got home from work.

There were probably 15 or so nymphs in her dish and there are only 3 left now. I'm impressed. New feeders should start arriving by tomorrow but I'll probably fill up her cup again

hornworms and waxes should be arriving today, they just hit my local USPS hub this morning and will likely/hopefully be sent out for delivery.

She still tried to hide from the misting this morning, but after filling up her drip cup she went over, pressed her little mouth into the edge of a petal, and started drinking

The misting will take a bit for her to know it's ok . Chameleon are very slow truster's , It's still new for Mamool . Pet supply probably never misted or if they Did once a day . Between the lights and no misting no wonder her little eyes are so irritated . They looked good at docs through . The natural light Out side always helps .
