I picked up this female Jackson's from a friend of mine who had ran out of space, anyways i noticed her right eye is sunken in and looks cloudy, not sure if you can see the cloudiness, her other eye seems fine, she obviously can't see out of the right one, would this be an eye infection?

Hi, this poor little one needs a lot of help. The issues stem from more than that of an infection. This link here is a good read for new jacksons owners. https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/jacksons/

You have come to the right place for husbandry help and suggestion. Your little one needs to see a qualified vet as soon as you can. The longer you wait the less likely of saving the eye/sight and can eventually be its demise. Be sure the vet you see is well versed in chameleons. If you post where you are located we may be able to point you to a good vet in your area.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Looks like white material in the eye. Hopefully it just needs to be flushed but there could be more going on. The chameleons will retract a painful eye. Let us know what it turns out to be.

Did you ask your friend how long the eye was like that? It might be an old injury. If it were mine, I would have my vet have a look at it and give an opinion on what to do with it.
