Doesn't look super receptive, but the best test is to put her near a male. Have you dont that yet? I've had females breed showing those colors before.

Justin: I dont have a Male Panther...But I do have a Male Veiled..You think it would work with him or No??

Trace: Yeah thats what we thought to when we got her from someone..But she's indeed a Female...She does NOT have a hemi. Bulge... :) She's a Mix as well, So it's tuff for me to tell if she's receptive or not!?

Looks like a male to me.

Yes I noticed that, but other females have that as well..are you familiar with the Ambilobe/Tamatave mix??? This is what she is..Very Different and Unique. I promise you she's a Female :) I'll have to find other photos of females that look like her.

He may not be the most endowed male I've ever seen but have you not noticed the large rostral process?

Nope not at all, She's setup outside with high humidity "we live on the beach" and the temps stay around 78-ish and if it gets to cool I bring her inside...The pics I posted are her relaxed colors other than when she go's dark to heat herself up during the day.

So0o No Ideas if she could be receptive or not??

Is she perhaps a little too warm?

Oh...And I just put her in with my Male Veiled...and he's trying to Hump her! So Yes...She is a Female! :)

A male calyptratus will hump anything (seriously you have to cut their heads off to get Veileds to stop mating) so that doesn't necessarily prove anything. Except that the male Veiled was dominant over the younger male Panther. That and you really shouldn't be putting the two of them together.

This I know...She was in and out..no harm done..I'm not looking to be criticize on what I should or shouldnt do...Apparently my Female is unique..and no one can give me any advice on weather or not she's showing receptive coloration...if ANYONE...has a female like mine please chim in, any helpful advice would be great since I'm not familiar with female panther receptive-ness...I always had Veileds :)

Thanks

I've seen a Female on here that looks like mine..I'll have to find that thread....Once I do I'll post it.

Might not be getting too many replies. I honestly haven't seen this before that I can recall from my immediate memory.

i dont know if its because i havent kept chams for very long but iv never seen a "white" chameleon. Didnt even know such exsited.

I believe it, I'm just saying the amount of replies you receive that are of any value from keepers that have had the same problem as you will be very minuscule. Hope you get everything figured out.

i dunno about that one lol. That nosy be dosnt really look anything like a Ambilobe/Tamatave mix. jmo
