Rudis maybe????

Also I didn't mean for you to take offense Trace. I was unaware that they were common, as I figured that a vast majority stuck to veiled, Panther, Pygmy and Jax. Sorry to offend apparently everyone.

One more thing. Everyone seems to be holding the fact that I am 13 against me. Perhaps you are older, more experienced, etc., but you have not taken into consideration that I know quite a lot, I have consulted several hundred if not thousand sources by this point, and that GLASS WORKS TOO. Some of you have found that screen works well. Good for you. Others say that glass works. The debate will continue forevermore. The point is, others find success in what others do not. Also, I have associated with reptiles since I was 3, and have kept them since 5, and have continued to increase my common sense of them for quite some time.

FOR THE LAST TIME I AM NOT GETTING A BEARDED DRAGON OR A PUPPY. PLEASE STOP SUGGESTING THIS AS I AM OBVIOUSLY NOT GOING TO DO SO.

If you have any helpful information not having to do with "proper posting etiquette", please message me. Another thing I need is insects. What can a two inch baby chameleon eat....? Not mealworms because of the exoskeleton...I know fruit flies and crickets but I don't know of any place that sells them small enough. As I am no longer going to bother to respond to the people suggesting to me that screen is 100% better and that I should "use proper posting etiquette" when clearly he didn't even know what he was talking about. (This goes out to you annoying guy). If there is something helpful, I'll say thank you. If not, chat amongst yourselves. Toodaloo.

FOR THE LAST TIME, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE HELP WITH THIS KIND OF ATTITUDE SO PLEASE STOP ASKING AS WE ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT GOING TO DO SO. All you have to do is sincerely apologize to this community. Easy peasy! Not like the last "apology" that you typed up, which was garbage. This has nothing to do with your age as my 8 year old is more mature than you and probably better suited to care for a chameleon.

Come on Nicky! If you just stopped acting like a childish brat people would stop responding the way they do. I don't think anyone has issue with the fact you're only 13, it's the fact that you're a very immature 13 year old who is also a know it all. I would bet there's tons more people on this forum who have kept the type of cham you are looking for but your actions have driven them all away. You constantly ask the same questions over and over but you don't listen to the answers. You just asked again about food for a 2" baby but that question has already been answered. I think you are just craving attention and maybe not getting enough at home which is why you're acting out on the forum. Try to humble yourself Nicky. Understand there are lots and lots of people on here that can help you and give good advice but if you push them all away you'll be all by yourself and then what? You must see that what you're doing now hasn't been working very well. The attitude change needs to come from you before you can expect others to change and help you. Good luck!

When I first kept chameleon's 25+ years ago, I kept them all in glass cages with screen lids. Later I switched to cages with screen fronts and lids and found it harder to keep them so I switched back. Chris Anderson wrote this article on glass cages a few years ago....hope after reading it, it will put this issue to rest...
https://www.chameleonforums.com/everyone-who-knows-you-cant-keep-chams-glass-31937/

Have you started supplementing your leos properly yet? Could you please post some recent photos of them and their cages. You still didn't tell me what the symptoms are for your sick leo other than it doesn't eat much.

As for insects, If you can't find small crickets in your area you will either have to grow/breed them or order them. As for other insects a small chameleon can eat...you can feed it small silkworms, small roaches, small superworms...all of which you won't likely be able to find locally if you can't find crickets locally. Properly gutloaded supplemented crickets are fine as a staple diet along with the fruit flies.

In have no issue with you being only 13...i have a problem with your attitude, lack of manners, your lack of respect for people and your arrogance...but as an adult in can work around it.

I find it interesting you chose to not look at anything I said. Clearly I don't hold your age against you, I even posted you should not be banned.

Well this post pretty much ends it for me. You're hopeless. Dealt with your type dozens of times. Toodaloo yourself.

People in this forum are smart, but very gullible indeed. Nicky is a troll. Trolls live for the responses they get from people. Nicky is probably a 40 year old man living in his mothers basement.

Also I didn't mean for you to take offense Trace. I was unaware that they were common, as I figured that a vast majority stuck to veiled, Panther, Pygmy and Jax. Sorry to offend apparently everyone.

I haven't been on the forums for some time now until a few days ago and saw you were becoming well known, seems like in the wrong way tho.
Just because Panthers, Veileds, and Jacksons are commonly sold doesn't mean it is the only species people work with or keep.
Now I'm not sure what questions you still need answered but I'm sure they have already been answered.
Best of luck.

Nicky, chameleons are expensive. You need a cage, a mister, lamp apparatuses, substrate, structure and plants, calcium dusting supplement, lots of bugs, vet money, and more. Also you need the money to replace any of it when it breaks: CAN YOU PAY FOR THIS??

I did sincerely apologize. Three times. If you want me to do so again, I will. Old Cham Keeper I did listen to you but I was posting towards the others. Sorry to everyone I offended, for whatever reason you hold me to. I am not a 40 year old troll. I am 13, I have 6 pets, and if you would all stop doubting me that would be great.

I have two Leo geckos.... Leo, the fat one who never eats in the fall, and Bob, who swallows every mealworm I give him and still does not get bigger. Bob has a crusty feces of some kind forming, and I have pointed this out to my parents but they say it's nothing. Bob is always scared of water. If I put a single foot of his in an inch of water he spazzes. Leo sleeps a lot. He's really lazy. Bob is like the SpongeBob to the Squidward (Leo). On top of this, Leo seems to be unresponsive to many things, or maybe he just doesn't care. One of those two. Let's see what else..... Oh yeah. Leo's right eye is always half shut, the other one is fine though. I always tell my parents something seems wrong, but as I always say that they believe I am just overly sensitive towards them. I'll have to stress to them that this cannot happen with the chameleon. I'm mostly always right about my diagnostics. My snake is fine though. He likes to climb on the Japanese maple outside (with my supervision of course) and he always smells me when my hand goes in the cage for whatever reason and he just stares at it like "you should have brought me food human" and then just looks around his cage like something changed. They're not really entertaining, except for when Leo gets hungry and then I feed him and sometimes my parents and/or siblings come and comment on his eating. Every other time or so he misses, and my mom always says "and the mighty dragon goes in for the attack.....BUT MISSES. That was lucky for that mealworm Jeff. But will his luck run out....?" And it's fun. Mushu thinks the mouse I give him is alive, so he constricts it every time.

Apology..?

People still apparently want me to apologize. No I am not a 40 year old troll, as I have previously stated, I am 13 and just want advice on my new chameleon. Glass works too (see previous thread) and many use it for Rudis. Search Rudis chameleon on YouTube and most of them are in glass cages. I sincerely apologize for stating my own opinion and whatever else you hold me at fault for, and I am not posting this with an attitude but I really don't quite know what I did. Please don't send me separate messages on what I did wrong. One or two paragraphs will suffice, and since I really don't do anything besides school (no extra curricular activities) I have plenty of time to care for Chiche, but very unfortunately he won't be ready until January unless I find another source, and then perhaps, still. Anyone know of anyone selling CB baby/juvenile trioceros sternfeldi (Rudis)? Again, sorry for whatever I should be. I'm sorry about my posts and those who got offended from it, and I'm sorry for those who did. Was that a good apology? I have no idea. Everyone I have a reason to apologize to is sarcastic so I can never be sure.

a tip. Do not start any new threads, continue on the one about the rudis. The moderator is merging all your threads there. if you continue creating threads you are going to get ban. you have already got an infraction

"Patience running thin"

"Amongst"

"Toodaloo"

13 year olds don't talk like that...I know, I have one. You are a troll, nothing will convince me otherwise.

I talk like that when I wrote things. My mom says toodaloo, I picked it up. Thanks for assuming though. Take the word assume. Put a line after the second s. And then the U. Mrs Lahoud taught me that last year. Stop assuming.

Also your kid isn't the only 13 year old. There are many more and they talk differently. So stop pretending you know anything about me, and I don't apologize to you.

Also I watch a lot of old films that talk like that. Don't assume you know me or what I was exposed to.

Honestly man, just drop it. You're continuing the same behavior that has annoyed others and if you continue it further, it will likely get you banned. Just start fresh and forget the past.

You again asked the same question on a new thread! Plus this "apology" is less convincing than the first.

"Glass works too (see previous thread) and many use it for Rudis. Search Rudis chameleon on YouTube and most of them are in glass cages"

Posts like the one above make us not want to help you because again, you know it all. You have not kept a chameleon yet you know what is best for them. Yes glass enclosures CAN work for chameleons. However they require more monitoring than a screen enclosure. Too much heat in a glass enclosure can cook a Cham. Too much moisture can cause mold, bacteria, and RI. Same with not enough air flow. What are you going to do about drainage? You will need to mist about once a day and provide a dripper so the Cham has access to fresh water. Water will pool up at the bottom of the enclosure creating a breeding ground for bacteria. Wether glass would or would not work is besides the point at this time. You lack the desire to learn and still only want the members of this forum to validate the choices that you have already made. You have not taken any of our advice into consideration. You know what's best and that's that. The only reason your still posting is because your waiting for a member to find you a CB Rudis. I would hate to be one of your teachers. Assuming you are a 13 year old kid and not a troll. Really starting to wonder though.......

Wow just wow. Such a lack of respect. Kids today lol. Now you'll need a new apology thread to apologize for this poor excuse of an apology (sarcasm). Seriously though, just stop now kid. Use the search tool and the advice that has been given to you already. Please only post here when you can be more mature and accepting of advice (not sarcasm). I'm done wasting my time here. Toodaloo!!!!!
