here is my sweetheart now 4 months old
and 28 cm it is a furcifer pardalis sambava

yes me to i thought he was gonna be red or orange (because his father's body was red) but the only thing that is orange are his eyes the rest of his body is green with blue and brown
but i still like how he turned out

Your boy is exceptionally cute. He looks very outgoing too. He may not look very Sambava now but he is really going to change in the next four months. I have a Sambava who looked very similar to yours at four months. There is one photo where you can already see the yellows and oranges developing on your boy's belly and under the chin. Mine had a blue blotch on the front shoulder area like yours too. When he was a baby it dominated. Now as an adult it is not very noticeable amid the green, orange and reds. Same with the head area. At first I thought I got an Ambilobe by mistake. Months later I knew he really was a Sambava. I think you will have the same experience. Full coloration takes a full year at least, if not longer. In the meantime enjoy his incredible cuteness

and i am really happy with him and if he never get red in his shed i dont really care because that blue/green looks good on him to haha

In my experience sambavas took the longest to color up.
