My female veiled has increasingly gotten more aggressive and now she hisses and tries to bite my hands when I try to transport her. Usually I trick her out of the cage with a juicy worm which works nicely but whenever she realizes shes not in her cage anymore she flips out and makes it difficult for me to give her check ups. I have a vet visit set up for the end of this week since she has some eye issues probably from a recent shed. I'm going to try washing her eye tomorrow with saline solution and I hope she wont get so stressed when I hold her.
I just don't understand, she used to be relatively calm besides being extremely timid. I thought that she would loosen up after a few months but she's just getting worse. And now that the weather is nice and shes big enough, I want to take her outside so she can benefit from the sunshine, but I just don't want her to get stressed out from being handled.
