Short on Feeder Order?

Has anyone else had issues with missing feeders from their orders? The last order I made came with 30% less than I ordered on the invoice. Not dead...just...not there at all. I've tried twice to contact the vendor and I've gotten no response. It's becoming frustrating.

Not naming names as I am still awaiting a response (a week later).

Wait for your reply and if it is not satisfactory then put it out there?
 
Yeah, I ordered 1,000 small crickets from a place I've gotten good dubia from before, and the order looked a bit short when it came in. We ended up counting as we fed them off and got less than 300... ?
 
I've always gotten a few extra in my orders, in one case double. I'd contact the vendor and ask for it to be corrected, and then order elsewhere.
 
I did, and sent a few pictures. They told me that the crickets may have eaten each other I'm transit, and offered a coupon for 5% off my next order, which I declined. Not planning to order there again

NO, NO, NO!!! That's exactly what I did that's caused me to be Up to my ARMPITS in ROACHES!
Unless—of course—that's what you want.
Wait for a reply from the offending vendor before ordering from another.
In our case, they said it was new employees who either hadn't been trained right or yet caught on.
Anyhow, they made it good and then some.
Anyone can make a mistake—we're all human. :)

That's a different kettle of bugs. As bad as businesses that blame the customer.
How do 300 crickets eat 700 crickets in the few days it took to ship them—are they shipping starving crickets? Even that's hard to reconcile (but I've never fed crickets). :oops:

Is that a variety of cricket? IIRC, I've heard of some cannibalism in crickets, but not to the extent of 300 eating 700 in that short a span.

Between that, the noise, the stink, and other negatives, I'm frankly surprised anyone feeds them with all the other available options. But that's just me. ?‍♂️

This is very true. I believe I am being generous in my response. Going on 2 weeks without any acknowledgement. Not impressed with the customer experience so far.

I'd contact the vendor and ask for it to be corrected, and then order elsewhere.
I would address it with the place you ordered from and then if they dont fix it you go somewhere else

I agree—that's not acceptable or professional, yet we all still know only half of the story.
I would move on at this point. If that vendor responds, it's your choice how to take it from there.
It still stinks that you're out some $.

I've had issues with two different feeder vendors in the past, but both made good.
I hope you have better luck in the future.

I think I experienced this with my previous order for 1k large crickets I got maybe 500 and believe they were the medium size ??
