Naw. Lots of members are experienced in other reptiles. At the gecko and beardie forums, people are reading the posts, but very few to no one ever responds.

I recommend a Central American banded gecko or a Fan Footed gecko.
I have kept both in the past and they're great pets.

Of the geckos, I've always had a hankering for a Leachianus ( Rhacodactylus leachianus ) or Leachie, but they're on the expensive side for geckos. ($900-$1500)
Out of ALL lizards, IMO the giant sungazer ( Smaug giganteus ) tops them all, but they're so endangered, there is zero chance of ever owning one. I'm OK with that; I can appreciate them from afar.
More realistically (legally ownable), I'm partial to many others, like jeweled lacerta, Abronia Arboreal Alligator Lizard, Uromastyx, Green Basilisk, Eastern Collared Lizard, Whiptail Blue Lizard, and a few (dozen) others... ?
Beyond that... world's most beautiful lizards

That's true the sungazer looks like a pokemon lol. Well I definitely know I want a chemelon, will probably start of will a veiled and when I have had that for a year or so get a panther and then mabye a Jackson. Also I want a beared dragon and mabye a leaf tailed gecko. But right know I have university to focus on so I will definitely get most of this after I have a job and can afford to feed all of them and pay for the vet Bill's.So many lizards... So little time!
But most likely I will stick to the chemelons because owning a lot of reptiles must be hard work.
