My local reptile store trains their staff in sales. Not a big deal, but they were trying to sell me something yesterday that prompted me to post here and see if anyone has any experience with it.

They called it SuperPig and said that it "really makes your chameleon's colors POP!" They were very animated and told me that people love all of the "crazy and vibrant colors" they get after using it.

It's a reddish powder placed on the food like vitamin supplements. I found a page with info on it:

Yea, I use it as a duster or a gutload sometimes, depending on what mood I'm in. It's full of beta carotenoids, so for example all the good stuff found in things like carrots, and they could over time help bring out a chameleon's natural warm colors (reds and oranges). And since it contains a lot of other healthy ingredients it certainly doesn't hurt as a gutload or occasional supplement. The healthier your chameleon = the better he/she'll reach their full color potential.

Is it going to turn your little green veiled a bright red? No, definitely not lol It won't create crazy colors out of nothing. But it's a good product, in my opinion. It is a little pricey, I use it as a gutload because I have access to giant bags of it at wholesale cost, but otherwise I may not use it in my gutloading rotation.
