Supplements in feeder gut load?

I've been watching a few videos on youtube and a common patterns occurs about sprinkling calcium powder on feeder bedding/gutload. Is this a right method?

If so what types of calcium supplements or plain supplements can be directly added into the mixture?

yes, you can add a bit of supplement - but only in small amounts. Large amounts can kill off the bugs / make the gutload unpalatable

choose your gutload ingredients to be naturally higher in the nutrients you are trying to give.
