T. quadricornis

I thought a few folks would be interested to see how big one of our T. quadricornis is getting. At a whopping 19.4 grams he is easily twice as large as our other one. We believe the other one to be a female but she does have raised scales indicating potential horns. Perhaps it's still a bit early to tell...

Here is the larger one we think to be male...

Enjoy!

Luis is this the little guy you got from Josh? If I knew I could compare with mine. Yours is a little cutie.

Luis, Im sorry to say but he doesnt look very healthy, your gonna have to send him to me so that I can nurse him back to health.......

Very nice man........still havent heard back from that one "seller"??

Laurie,
This is one of the two I acquired from Josh back in May. About a month ago he went through a growth spurt and just took off. I have separated the two to give the smaller one a better chance at the food. This guys would literally walk all over her to eat what she was aiming for.

Brye,
Nice try! These two have been nothing but a pleasure to work with and haven't given me many problems at all. I was actually concerned about having to separate them in fear the female would stress from a new home. It did take her a few days but she's settling in nicely.

His response to my request for pictures was his paypal email address and the days he normally ships. I don't want any trouble so I haven't responded.

Thanks everyone!

Luis

Looking good Luis, can hardly wait for offspring (wink, wink :p) I think I know who you guys are talking about. He wanted to charge me $80 for shipping!

Luis,

He looks great, ours have grown quite a lot recently too, we separated ours about 2 weeks ago and they are doing wonderful. We haven't weighed them but we need to so we can start to compare how they are all growing up and differing in size. 19 eggs due to hatch in about 2 1/2 months... they are looking great.. can't wait for them to hatch.. have been waiting for some more babies around the house.. Keep the pictures coming.. love to see the great shots that you take!

Hey guys,

Thanks for the compliments! By the way, I haven't forgotten about your request for our notes. You should be getting an email from me soon. :)

Thanks again,

Luis

Luis I just weighted Jet, he is at 25 grams. When I weighted him last, on 8/7 he was at 12. Doesn't that seem like a big weight gain? He has doubled in weight but even with me telling him I will sit a brick on him to keep him from growing he seems to be growing every day.:( Soon I won't have a baby Jet:(:(.

Laurie,

Now's about the age they go through a growth spurt it seems. I will have to review my notes at the house, but I recall this guy nearly doubling in size at around the same time. He's an eating machine so over feeding can definitely become an issue if you're not careful. But outside of that, it seems yours has always been a few grams above mine so it sounds like he's right on target!

Thanks everyone,

Luis

Thanks!

Here's a few of the female for you to think about. ;) This girl is a hell of a jumper! She's never appreciated being handled, so I try not to bother her too often but when I take her out I have to stay close to the floor. During this "photo shoot" she leaped (yes, like a frog) from my hand and fell five feet onto the carpet. I've never seen a chameleon scope a spot, aim, bend back, then lunge!

Now everyone knows why I rarely get pics of her...she is absolutely terrified of the camera. I was lucky enough to get 2 decent shots out of a good 100 I took of her.

Luis,

I'm not sure how I missed this thread, but what gorgeous animals. Love the photos, too, especially the last one.

See you around,
