k guys.. dont judge me plz.. i HATE bugs.. especially the crickets cuz they hop around like crazy and i dont want them escaping and biting my kids.. so my question.. what do you guys find as the easiest way to feed your cham? so far what we do is just pinch em out of the cricket keeper one at a time and put them in his sight.. very time consuming because theyre difficult to catch.. ive thought of leaving the cricket keeper in the cage open so that they escape into the cage.. but i dont know about it cuz i wont be able to see how many escape and keep track of how much he eats.. and plus.. i dont want them biting my baby at night when hes asleep! so .. any suggestions?

You could scoop them up out of the keeper with a plastic cup and hold the cup out to your Cham. That's what I do with the crickets. I hand feed other bugs but crickets are a bit too fast for me too :)

i cup feed. take a sunny d bottle and cut the front about and inch from the bottom and top. then take some screen and hot glue it to the back side and cut the bottom and put screen there so it can drain. put some gutload in there and your crickets will crawl up the screen and your cham will see them and eat them.

I only let him hunt an odd cricket every few days.what I do day to day is I take out about ten or so crickets and put them in a small tub with a small bit of chopped veg and I hold it into the cage.if Fred is hungry hell walk over to lean in and eat his fill.quick and tidy.also makes it easy to dust. Oh and I let the locust in loose as they can climb the side of the tub

I cup feed my guy and have been doing so since he was 5 weeks old,,,I just put the cup in different areas,,or even sometimes hold it and he comes out to get them!!!
What I do,,,,cuz I dont like them little buggers either is,,,,keep single egg tray cups in my feeder cage,,once the lights go on they scat up into the tops of the egg cup,,,I then have a baggie with a pinch of whatever supplement the day calls for,,lower the bag into my feeder aquarium,,,pick up an egg cup open end down,,,into the top of the baggie,,,,and flick the outside knocking them off of the inside!!! then i blow into the bag,,,,and shake them critters up,,,,dump them in my feeding cup and show Guber and he comes running to where ever i put the cup!!!
Good Luck

Thanks guys!! now i just feel dumb!! lol.. i should have thought of this before! instead here i am makng life difficult for us both.. lol.. he looks at me everyday like "REALLY MOM?" lol.. when im trying to catch the crickets.. lol.. one more question.. should he have decent color? he is a panther.. 14 weeks old.. but i swear he looks kind of small to me! and his face is BARELY turning that blueish green color.. but for the most part he is still grayish brown

I use a tupperware container for my dusting, I'm not sure this makes a difference.

I just put the duster(open) in the cricket tub, grab one of the hiding spots in the cricket cage(usually toilet paper rolls) and shake crickets off until I have enough in the dusting cup, seal, shake, open and dump into the cage or feeder cup. Never have to touch a cricket unless a sneaky one jumps out or something.

Hope that helps!
