The Best Hybrids! :)

Hermes, my favorite Chameleon my collection is an Ambilobe x Ambanja.

I can only hope that people would have the integrity to respect pure lines and not lie about what they are selling. I also realize that there are people out there that could care less, and that's pretty sad.

All I can say is this guy is epic. His favorite place is on my or any member of the family's shoulder. He likes to just ride around and check things out. :D

I completely agree. Hermes is beautiful! good job with him:D

This is my boy Loki. He's a tour of madagascar with:
37.5% Ambilobe x 32.815% Ambanja x 15.625% Nosy Be x 6.25% Sambava x 4.685% Tamatave x 3.125% Maroantsetra

He's from the Kammers and they really keep track of their bloodlines! He's my first chameleon and he is thriving :D I have no problem with crosses(as long as the breeder is keeping strict records of bloodlines), I love how unique they are:p

OMG!!! hes GORGEOUS! Does he have any babies!? please say yes and that they are for sale lol

Ambilobe blue bar x Nosy Faly

Hi my name is Ron and I am new to this forum. I have been a dart frog breeder for 28+ years and have chameleons on and off since I was 20. In the dart frog world Hybrids and Crosses are frowned upon and you would not be welcome in the forums. I understand this with dart frogs but am glad to see this is not the case here with Chameleons. I have been looking through and have seen some amazing crosses and hybrids. This has gotten me to now want to post the cross between my Male Ambilobe Blue Bar called Big Red and my female Nosy Faly. The first 2 pics are of my male when I first got him he was mostly blue. Now he is blood red 24/7. The first pic is what he looked like when I got him the second is right after a shed when he was blood red. The flash and artificial light kind of washed out his red. The next 2 pics are of my cross. The first male from the clutch and he is a keeper. The last pic is of a female. Even she shows some nice colours. The hybrid male is 4 months old in those 2 pics so can't wait to see his colours when he is fully mature.

Hope you enjoy the pics. Let me know what you think. I did a bunch of reading and kind of remember somewhere where somebody wondered what an Ambilobe blue bar x Nosy Faly would look like so here he is. Now have to think of a good name for my new guy. Any suggestions?

Thanks.
Ron from Toronto, Canada.

I AM SOOO JEALOUS!! lol..my little baby girl(that i got as a boy) is a faly/ambanja but way too young to show off lol i do have a pure male faly unrelated though...hmmm.....i agree with olympia, about the akc lineage. pedigree dogs are crossed all the time and still considered pedigree. I love crosses but i dont have one to show off..well why not heres the baby sporting her blue and green eye shadow, i think shes gonna be a colorful female
