My panther chameleon got the runs in these few days and he is still refusing to eat right now.He hasn't eaten for 3 days already when he could eat everyday usually. The good news is he drinks, but I think the runs is the reason that he dosen't wanna eat.The runs showed that his poop was full of water, just like how our poop seem when we get the runs. What should I do?

here's more details of my kid.Any help will be appreciated!!

Could be parasites. I would highly recommend a vet visit and a fecal.

You need to use more than carrots for gut load. I recommend green leaf veggies such as dandelion, mustard, kale and collard greens. I also recommend a good dry gut load such as cricket crack.

I would also get a bigger cage for an adult panther...... 48 inch high at least. I would also lower the basking temps a bit. I bask panthers males around 85 to 86. You will also want to change the UVB bulb every 6 months unless you have a UVB meter.

First, have a test done to see if the chameleon has parasites and if it does what parasite(s) you are dealing with. Then have it put on an appropriate anti-parasite medication regime until it shows clear.

IMHO you also need to improve your gutloading and try to offer more variety of insects.
You can gutload crickets, roaches, locusts, superworms with an assortment of greens (dandelions, kale, collards, endive, escarole, mustard greens, etc.) and veggies (carrots, squash, sweet potato, sweet red pepper, zucchini, etc.).

You can feed the chameleon roaches, crickets, superworms, silkworms, locusts, once in a while waxworms, etc.

I would agree on the vet visit + fecal exam. Especially from what you said earlier about him vomiting right when you got him, it would further lead me to worry about the parasite issue. If I recall correctly you had your cham for like 1-2 days when the vomitting occurred (and your current post says you have only had this cham for 2 weeks).

Also, if you have not already done so, I would contact the breeder that you got him from to let him know about health issues. If this was an issue that existed before you got him, the breeder should help/make it right; but you won't really know until a vet diagnoses it...
