I know the pic is not the best- but I was so happy and excited for him :D
Mason is now 60 grams !! and had his first UNASSISTED " KILL" - lol - he was able to catch a cricket on his own - but, it did have its back legs off - but he still was able to hunt it down, and catch it !! this is the first time he has hunted and CAUGHT something on his own - he is doing very well !! after seeing the vet a few weeks ago to get all the gunk out of his mouth, I think his mouth finally feels much better :D even tho he has no tongue, he finally has a good apatite :)

thanks everyone :) I have been working really hard with him to get his weight back up, and keep enough water in him , and he has to work so hard just to get what he does , but I can see him " learning " daily - I still tube water to him, and place most of his food right in his mouth, but he is becoming more and more independent - and starting to cup feed, but will always be under close watch , and most likely hand fed, but what a special little guy he is :) we still have a ways to go to get to full weight, he seems to be putting on about 1/2 of a gram a day - he was 43 g when I picked him up on the 29th of Oct in Pa :)

That's awesome new Cheryl. I'm so happy you took Mason in and to be able to hear and see his improvements.
