Update on Walker

Well, just now getting back to the warehouse after being gone ALL day, and Walker greeted me with both eyes OPEN!!! You can still tell that he's not 100%, but I'll take it! I feel bad for not getting in some extra mistings today, but he'll get some extra loving over the weekend! ;)

Thats GOOD news,I will keep sending positive waves your way, keep us posted :)

Thanks again, guys and dolls. My stress level has definitely dropped, but we're not out of the woods yet.

I still need that drink...

i know the feeling with but not with a chameleon, with a fish tank, i had a very bad ammonia problem and even though it was looking good at one pont i still wasnt stress free cuz it wasnt all gone, although i skipped a day of treatment once it was improving until then but that cuased it to get worse but im sure with the great care your giving walker, he will be better in no time

So Max, have you found out what caused the irritation?
How's he doing now?

I am worried about supplementing as well. I don't get enough information from Exo Terra Multivitamin.
Also, what indication that made decided he's suffered from Vit A defficiency?

All they need is a tiny drop each day. I pop the capsule, squeeze a tiny amount out onto a q-tip and touch it to the roof of their mouth. Do it once for 3 days and I bet he'll be normal by Sunday/Monday.

Kent, how do you make him open his mouth? Especially when one is sick.

Glad to hear that handsome little man is on the mend.
His weight sounds good to me for an 8 year old boy.:)

Usually restraining them in your hand so that they can't bite you is enough to get a gape response. Some are too friendly, weak, or stubborn but will usually gape if you touch their lips or top of the head, while they are also being restrained as above.

Max I am happy for you and Walker. I won't even offer you a kiss:eek: just best wish for all to stay well and just get better.:)
