Update on Walker

Blues are coming back strong! (and that cat...and daughter...just adorable!) Glad to see Walker is feeling blue! ;)

Walker is still eating like a champ. He devoured 5 hisser nymphs yesterday and has been killing the crickets and superworms. He should be due for a shed soon. Come on, baby!!

Oh boy. I think I just may be sick! I think we put Walker through all the vet nonsense and meds for nothing.

This whole ordeal may have just been a retained shed! He started to shed just his right eye on Friday and look at it now!! 1,000,000 times better! Poor guy!
Now we just need the meds to wear off so that his beautiful colors can return!

Great news Max and a good learning experience for the folks here on the forums :)

Thanks, Eric! I hope to put all of this behind us soon! Man, these guys will deffo jack with your emotions. Like a big, bada$$ rollercoaster ride!

I've just started with chams, but I got Herpavite, you might use that as well. They use beta carotine to metabolize into vit a instead to avoid vit a overdose. I also use repitcalcium with d3. I realized yesterday that I should also have the without d3 as well for daily or almost daily feedings.

Thanks for your input. My boys get lots of natural UVB, therefore I hardly use and D3. The only D3 they get is from the repashy calcium plus that I use maybe 1-2 times per month.

There is debate over whether chameleons can convert beta carotene into Vitamin A. I don't know who did the research or why there is a question but I have seen it discussed on here before. That is why you want to provide gutload items that contain Vitamin A if you are not giving it in a multivitamin that contains it just to be on the safe side.

I don't care about any or all debates!! I am just happy my man, Walker, is ok. :):)I love him to bits. Give him a worm from me.
