Hi everyone,
Just put my cages out side in my backyard, which is very shady..the placement the cages are in, only gets a very narrow edge of sun for maybe an hour of the day which is good as want to prevent overheating.
I control the heat with a heatlamp and wasn't intending on using uv lamps since uv will be bouncing off surfaces and still getting to the cage however would like to make sure they would get enough uv..
Is this meter any good > http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=360897594336
Does not have to be precise, just a rough estimate would be fine...and what would be too high of a reading, or too low of a reading..
I will be keeping montanes and a common chameleon..
Thanks in advance
