Attached and painted the 25"x25". Wait for it to dry and I'll slap on the sealant and cut out the hole. The pot is big so the hole will be about 12"! I measured, should be good to go!

Can't wait to see it man I'm excited

Haha! Pretty much what you see it what you get. Imagine a hole in the middle with the planter plugging it up! ;) I'm excited too!! :D

Edit* Hopefully the trim I bought for the side and back edges will leave enough room for the cage. I measured, but it's sketchy!!

What was the price of all of this if you don't mind? I may steal your idea and put two side by side for my cages! :)

That's my plan is to do up two of these. The vanity was only $39 and you can get them at HD or Lowes. The plywood was $15.xx and HD cut them to specs for me. I have two more 25x25 pieces ready to go! :p Glue, nails, trim and sealant was right at $10? So the $$ parts are the vanity and wood! Now I just have to figure out an effective way of cutting out this dang hole. I figure I'll trace the circle, drill holes around it and bust out the sawsall...

You should do a step by step for the noobz haha

I'm posting pics as I go! I've applied the sealant and waiting for it to dry. Then I'll work on the hole. Still waiting for the stuipid Fedex man to show up with my cage!

Edit* oh, the crappy part about this plan is that you'll end up with a sink! What the heck am I gonna do with 2-3 sinks??

Go out into a big open field and Office Space those things! Get your angst out!! ;)

lol nice project I wanted to do something like that. Might still do it as a next project. I need to make a cage for Ringos gf when do finally get her

Fedex man just showed up with my cage! Woot!! :D I must say, I'm not thrilled at the packaging. Seems to me that it could easily be dented during transit...

Here is said package:

I thought maybe the cage would be inside another box within, but nope. We'll see...

Yeah DIY has cut down, the old ones had a picture on them of the cage. Also I hope they changed the screen to something other than steel, my outsides ones rusted badly. I'm guessing these are going to be inside? Oh and you can drop the sinks off at a habitat for humanity site or something along those lines.

I haven't taken it out of the box yet to inspect. Work, work, work...uggghhh...I'll check it out in a bit.

Great idea about the HoH! I'll find somewhere local that'll take them. Yes, the cages will be maintained inside 99.999% of the time. Thanks! :)

Well, it's not the roundest of circles, but by god, it fits!! :D
