This week I got my first chameleon. He is a 2.5 month male veiled. I got him from Karin and Steve and couldn't be happier. He enjoys chilling on the ficus, stalking unsuspecting crickets and finding new ways to blend in. I have him in a starter enclosure similar to what you would get in the ultimate package from scremeleons. But I am using driftwood and real plants(ficus and pothos). I am likely to ditch the driftwood soon and add another plant. Stay tuned.

Aww! What a sweetie! They are sooo tiny at that age! I got Amy at about 3.5 months and she was really small! You'll be amazed at the rate they can hoover up food and how fast they grow! I've had Amy for 4 weeks now and I'm sure she's more than doubled in size during that time!

I love babies! I just sold most of my clutch of veils but they sure are fun when they are so small aren't they? congrats
