White on top of veil

So I have noticed this white line on the top of my female veiled’s crest and at first I thought it was the beginning of a shed but it has not gone away over a couple of days like a shed would + it doesn’t really look like shedding skin either. I’m worried it could be a thermal burn and if it is how should I treat it? Will it go away on its own? Her basking spot closest to the light is 6 inches away from the heat source but she has been screen climbing since she has been receptive so maybe she got too close? (Though I would expect it to be on her belly but that seems normal).
using daylight bulb and basking temp is 78 ambient is mid 70s and night time is 68
Also using 5.0 uvb by reptisun

Put your hand inside the cage as close as you can get it to the basking light. If you have/want to move your hand then it's too hot. If it's not really hot then it's not likely a burn.

So.. if she was climbing on cage screen she would be upside down and she would burn her stomach and not her tip of the head. At least thats what I’m thinking. And older they get slower they shed. I think that is shedding you are looking at.

My thoughts exactly! Thanks for your help I’m glad it’s probably just shed!

Testing the light is still worth doing IMHO.

Well not necessarily on the screen. I think it was more in the direction of her sitting on her branch and burning her head.

I felt her basking spot with my hand and even above it close to the top of the screen and it was not too hot
