White patches all over body

so I noticed this morning when checking on my 5 month old veiled chameleon, Mooki, that he seems to have patches of skin peeling off of him as if he was shedding, but I cant find any shedded skin around the cage. He also has white patches all around his body, and it looks as if he has dents in his skin and body as well. what is wrong with him? he showed no signs of anything being wrong in the entire 4 months I had him in San Francisco. I recently moved back down to Los angeles and now he's showing these signs, I've been in LA for only 5 days now, could it be that he's not adjusted to the change in temp? pls help. Could be that he's just started shedding and no skin has actually come off yet. If humidity is low they can struggle with a shed so make sure you're misting enough. You could even try hand misting him with warm water (from a distance so the mist is really fine) alot don't like being misted directly though so I would stop if he seems distressed.
