Wondering what type of panther chameleon I have..been reading about different types

Do you have pics? It's pretty impossible to tell what locale your panther is from though many keepers can make a pretty good educated guess. The only way to really know is having the breeder tell you firsthand, that is if they know.

hopefully this works -_-..success :D

It'll definitely be easier to tell when he's older and colored! I'd say an Ambilobe, maybe Ambilobe cross but that's only since he looks somewhat similar to how my Ambilobe looked. It's a surprise!

its a girl!!!! lol but when I purchased her it just said panther chameleon -_-

You are correct! I didn't pay much attention really, how old is she? She does look like she has at least some ambilobe in her, but who knows. Very pretty female :)

If she's a female then there is no way to tell, unfortunately, unless you bred her to a known locale and then saw what the babies looked like in a year. Then you might be able to derive what the female is. But there's no way to tell just by looking at her.

It might just be the angle of that picture but the tail base looks fairly broad - you might have a male there. Post a few clear pictures of the tail taken from the side and we can say for sure.

I thought so, now I learned something knew. Thank you Olimpia :)

at a glance i thought female, colour also looks female although pic is not very clear, but the tail looks thick at the base, although this could just look like this due to the chams posture.
