Hello everyone,
As you can see I'm new on this forum and I'm not a native speaker so i will immediately apologize for my present and future mistakes.
I have female chameleon around 3 years old and i would like to say that she wasn't with me form the begining. I got her maybe a year ago and she was in terrible condition. She wasn't eating, she was dehydrated and she was visibly weak. I took care of her and now she is quite fine. Except one thing that bothers me allot. You see, in Serbia you cannot reach the vet easily. There are only few of them. And of course they are very very expensive and hard to get. So, I had to take care of her with what i had. I could find calcium and D3 vitamins, UVB lamp and things for every-day care.. But real medications...hardly.
I have read a few topics on this forum with maybe the same problem as mine. But all the answer were ''Take it to a vet."
So, the problem is that my Ch. is a bubble on her back. I have increased vitamins and i started to give her more vegetables. The bubbles dried and now there is only a scab. The scab is also drying now and it starts to fall off. But the worry is that i can see open wound under the scab. I'm afraid that she will get some kind of infection or something that I will not be in position to cure myself.
What I'm asking is:
Are there any human medications that i can use to prevent possible infections? And how to use them?
And also, if some one has any good advice for me...i would be very very happy to listen to them.
I also want to say that she is mobile, healthy, she is eating normally, eyes are ok, mouth, poop, ankles are ok and that she does not have MBD.
Thank you very much for your help.
Slobodan,
Serbia.
