Your 'Man Hide'!

I was at Walmart tonite and they were giving away free samples for Dove 'Fresh Face' Men's soap. I took one home (tongue in cheek) and hubby said "Are you kidding me? Do I look like the kind of guy that uses that stuff? Do I need to look after my man-hide??" We had a good laugh because that is SO NOT HIM!

But it got me wondering...how many guys DO use the moisturizers, cleaners etc. that makes up what I'm sure is a multi-billion dollar industry, the Men's Product Industry!

Do you? :D

I have wondered the same thing...I dont do any facial soaps but i do prefer caress or dove soap cause it doesnt make my skin feel taunt if that makes sense.

I don't myself but I do know men who do actually the same lad could spend an hour sorting his don't give a f**k look before going out  he nearly collapsed when I told him I wash my hands in petrol from time to time.

My husband Steve loves that Doves Mens soap, he buys it every time he needs soap and he really needs a moisturizers, his skin gets so dry this time of year...he says he has to get his "girl on".

Back in my early high school days, I had pimples. I used those noxema and other zit products with only moderate success. I stopped using all of those products and my face instantly cleared up. I've probably only had a handful of zits since then. I say all of this to say, I put nothing on my "man-hide" any longer... :)

In the dry climate I live in now, I have to use specialized shampoo, soap, and lotion. Nothing very fancy, or medical related, just simple products from the store. If I dont, my skin cracks and bleeds, and breaks out often, and I get dandfuff. :(

Near the coast, all I needed was Irish Spring, period.

Im just not bred for this climate...

I used Aveda products. I have noticed a difference when I started using them. Skin is not as dry anymore and my hair actually seems much healthier. Just because we are guys does not mean we should not take care of our hair and skin.

Haha....some really good answers here...gotta get my girl on, that one cracks me up!! :D

Man products just don't have a place in my husbands life but I can understand how some men need them and how others just appreciate the products for what they can do for them. Any woman can appreciate that! :)
