I think those round shaped egg must be female if we employ the rule from "birds".
I also got two eggs today, and they looked good. I don't know what to do, though.
Hi guys!
I found two egg from my female Spectral Pygmy.
I don't know when they laid.
I'm a little bit excited, but I realized that those eggs are stained with some brown colors.
They are still hard and no signs of rust.
Should I keep these eggs?
yes, actually they are adorable chams, what I was saying was she laid some not fully developed egg-like stuffs and died. I don't what was worng with her. But, I was so disappointed.
I had red phase of Jackson's few years back.
I purchased her from kingsnake.com and died of problem of eggs.
anyway, red phase of Jackson's is not so unusual.
Hi everybody!
I have one encolsure for my spectral pygmys.
Yesterday, we have heavy rains and at night there were so many night crawlers coming on my backyard.
I know earthworms make the soil rich, so I just picked 3 of the smallest and put them in my enclosure. Also I gave one to my wild...
thanks for sharing your photos.
Actually, I have Spectral Pygmy, too. Unfortunately, my male just died. So I have only 2 females.
Btw, I think Spectral pygmy has different subspecies. because two of my females look so different even though they have some similar features.
I see this thread today. Congratulation Chris!
I'll check out this paper tomorrow when I'll get back to work!
PNAS? what a nice journal! I have one publication on PNAS 2004. :)
Yes, that's right!
Unfortunately, my male just died few days ago with that huge bulge.
Then, can you help me to ID this link as well?

They are claiming Brookesia stumpffi, but I think it's not.
Thank you so much!
