Covering Soil I am still in the process of setting up my enclosure. I was advised to cover the soil on my plants as Chameleons can ingest the soil which can cause serious problems. I have now covered my plants with a layer of pebbles and then a Layer of Mesh on top!

I have a zoo med 5.0 tube bulb above my cham's house. I want to make sure everything is ok before I get him. The bulb is placed in a hood above the mesh on top of his house. Will the mesh cut down a lot of the UVB? is it worth having a small gap in the mesh to make sure enough of the UVB is...

I have 2 Real ficus plants and a real Umbrella plant. I have got a piece of tree which I would like to use for my cam is it safe to use any type of tree? I have rinsed all the live plants. I have scrubbed the piece of tree and poured boiling water over it a few times, is this ok? :confused:

Thats ok, miss Lily, We have decided to make our own home so its nice and big, I have a cupboard thats perfect it is just over 4ft high and 2.5 ft wide. And it will be nice and warm as its wood! so we are just going to put some mesh panels in it :) Thanks for all your advice :)
