thanks for the link! i have only ever let him eat Garden spiders which if i understand correctly are completely safe aside from possible contamination as you stated.

Indonesian white lined gecko's are great with there young, the males take care of the eggs and they will not even eat the babys when they are born they will let themselfs starve instead. very smart and closely related to tokays, i wana get a pair, can you show up there entire enclosure and speak...
id presume its an instinct to protect there eyes, much like they close them for a fraction of a second when bringing there food back into there mouth, the only time in nature they would feel a sensation like that is when its really windy, so it may just be a defensive mechanism to not get there...
my chameleon LOVES eating spiders and here in canada there arnt really any that pose him a threat. so i give them baths then gutload them with crickets that are gutloaded and then feed em off xD

yeah i did, i even waited for some to change into beetles, and fed those! but would only suggest feeding the beetles if they are still white from freshly metamorphasizing
i wouldent go so far as to kill them but i would use tweezers to crush there mandibles. i do that to supers just to be safe even tho goonie is a great chewer
i thought the one on the far left was probably inhabited by perhaps a red eyed tree frog! gotta get something in there its too pretty to be left uninhabited!!
