    Trimming Jackson Horns

Not a good idea...Let them grow nature knows better, filing or cutting a horn will cause him pain and can only lead to bad things.

    Eggs in the oven

Where did you get that "ambilobe/ambanja" from? if you don't mind me asking...And I definitely agree it is always a big surprise reason why I never understood why some breeders are so adamant about cross panthers...Regardless I can't wait to see what comes out of those eggs...

    Eggs in the oven

A few weeks ago I decided to take in a female WC Ambilobe and had a few egg looking things coming out while pooping, so after careful consideration I decided to experiment with diet and egg production stimulation...and to my surprise heat+diet+"male flashing" definitely stimulates eggs...

It might be remaining eggs, but just in case to stimulate her bowels, give her a shower chamber with warm water.

    Egg in poop?

Here's the story. I recently took in a WC Female Ambilobe...Great weight, hydrated and decent previous poops. I have had her for a little over a week. Today she gave me a nice fecal sample that had traces of a yolkey substance, upon further inspection I found a yellow "egg like" portion of that...

    (EXTREMELY GRAPHIC) Self veiled necropsy

I absolutely commend your spirit and it truly is the best to rule out reasons for this unsuspected death. I have seen a similar blob produced by impaction. Can't wait to know what happened. Sorry you have to go through this but because of it many will learn.

Is there any non cannibalistic mantis?

When presented with a lack of prey they will prey on their own. Some more than others but out of experience Ghost Mantis usually don't prey on each other when provided with constant prey.

    thoughts on this poop?

I have experienced this specially when feeding mealworms or supers...it still seems like some chams don't digest these exoskeletons that well. Have also wondered about supplements and the fecal coloration these may cause. *This is solely my opinion*
